With a background in English composition, an innate eye for structure, and a career embedded in science, I bring a unique sensibility to my work. I have also seen firsthand many of the pressures researchers face today: compensation gaps, high workload, and the toll academic systems can take on work-life balance and career progression.

Currently residing in a 1920s-era cottage in Baltimore, Maryland, you’ll probably find me in the garden or on a bike ride with my daughter when I step away from my desk.
